WHERE WE'LL BE MEETING

We will be meeting at the Squamish Airport (see it here).

If you drive, you CAN leave your car in the parking lot all weekend for free. The lot isn't patrolled by a security guard, so just make sure to leave no valuables.

WHEN WE'LL BE MEETING

There will be two flights heading up – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

MORNING FLIGHT:

We will be meeting at 8:30AM on Friday, July 22nd. We will be taking 3 consecutive flights out, so just a heads up that the morning will be a little slower getting you checked in, etc.

AFTERNOON FLIGHT:

We will be meeting at 8:30AM on Friday, July 22nd. We will be taking 3 consecutive flights out, so just a heads up that the morning will be a little slower getting you checked in, etc.

WHEN WE'LL BE BACK

Heli pick-up will be at 5PM on Sunday. It should take a total of one hour to fly everyone out and we should expect to all be back in the parking like by 6:30PM and headed back to Vancouver.

You will have cell service on the flight back and can organize someone picking you up around that time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PACK

We've put together a packing list for you and there's a couple of very important things to know:

Due to room and weight constraints, try to fit all of this (with exception of the pillow/sleepbag) into a single backpack that weighs UNDER 15 pounds.

  • Adequate shoes for the outdoors: hiking boots
  • Layered clothing to keep you warm at night, but good during the day
    • Temperatures will range from below zero at night to 20 degrees during the day. We will be sleeping inside, but pack warmer than you think
    • PS. It gets damn cold
  • Headlamp / flashlight
  • A jacket - one that can withstand a little bit of rain. We don't expect a lot, but there is the potential for some
  • A sleeping bag and pillow
  • Floatie – mandatory
  • Onesie
  • Toiletries & sunscreen
  • Thermal coffee mug
  • Swim suit & towel
  • Bug spray
  • Snacks – this is how you make new friends

KEEP IN MIND

  • There will be no cell service for the weekend. You'll be off the grid, but connecting in all the right ways.
  • Feel free to bring a camera to capture and shoot the weekend.
